CHANGING THE LIVES OF AT-RISK DOGS

We define at risk dogs as those at risk of being surrendered, euthanized, or abused. This includes dogs with disabilities, senior dogs, and pit bulls. In addition to these programs, we help homebound seniors care for their dogs to avoid owner surrender.

About Pogo's Project

A beautiful Pit Bull named Pogo inspired the project, sparking joy in those around her and pushing us to learn more.  With Pogo in mind, we are on a mission to change the stigma that surrounds pit bulls, educate the community on responsible pet ownership, and provide resources to homebound seniors with pets to avoid animal surrender.  We believe every animal deserves a loving home and dedicate efforts to promote Underdogs - senior and special needs dogs currently living in shelters.

Events

Dog lovers, we invite you to join us for several great events, benefiting Pogo's Project as well as other local rescue groups.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Do you believe every dog deserves a loving home?  Do you wish Pit Bulls had a reputation that reflects their love, not the situations bad owners have put them in? Do you believe in keeping seniors and homebound individuals with their pets?

Community Outreach

We believe in the impact of resources and education. That's why we offer a pet food and supply pantry.  Simultaneously, we host education events and presentations for students and adults that promote responsible pet ownership and help our community understand the importance of kindness.
